Kelli Fernandez-Medina

Kelli Fernandez-Medina is a shareholder at Ford Family Law. She has 22 years’ experience practicing family law exclusively, 16 of which have been with Ford Family Law. She remains drawn to the personal aspects of the practice of family law and the bonds forged between client and attorney in navigating what is a challenging time and process of change in most client’s lives.

Ms. Fernandez-Medina obtained her law degree from The Ohio State University in May 2001. She was admitted to the State Bar of Californiain December 2001 and the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in May 2023. She graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1997 with a dual B.A. in Economics and Spanish. During her second year of law school, Ms. Fernandez-Medina received a prestigious Foreign Language Area Studies Fellowship (FLAS) from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ms. Fernandez-Medina is a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, a member of Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) and a member of the Alameda and Contra Costa County Bar Associations. She is a former board member of the Alameda County Family Law Association (ACFLA) and a former associate member of the Earl Warren American Inn of Court.
